We have been serving Prior Lake and the surrounding areas for over 40 years. The business was recently taken over by Jake and his wife who are local Prior Lake residents. Jake has lived in Prior Lake his entire life and loves getting to serve his own community. Our favorite part of the business is working locally and providing high quality services that you can rely on.

There is something very special about serving your very own hometown. Jake attended HVACR school and began working for Prior Lake Heating and AC after graduating. When the previous owner decided to retire, Jake and his wife took over the business. We are grateful for the opportunity to work for our community and take care of each one of you. It all started with a A/C fail. I called everyone... I could but with a 31 yr old system. R22 is scarce and Jake and his crew got it working again. But it failed because of another leak. Nothing they did wrong, just an old system that just needed to be replaced. Jake applied my service fee to a new furnace and A/C. That itself as a business owner that goes the extra mile to make sure you are being taken care of! So Jake, a guy to work with! And to your crew, Lucus, Hunter, Ben and Zack. You guys are awesome! Great work and having that small town talk ability made this so much more easy!read more

I called Centerpoint out to ck on our 38 yr old... AC that stopped producing cold air, and at no surprise it was condemned. The salesman said it be at least 2 weeks before we could get a new one installed. Great! with temps in the 90's and dew points in the 70's, that wasn't going to get it. Called Prior Lake heat and air and talked to Jake. He came right out and verified our AC had died, nothing lasts forever - but almost. Two days later we had our new AC installed. I can't say enough about how professional Jake and his team (Ben and Zachary) were in our time of need. A pleasure to do business with, very respectfull, and took the time to do it right, also excellent pricing.read more

Prefer working with locally owned businesses... which Prior Lk Heating & Air is. They have provided our HVAC services for past 4 yrs (routine maintenance; replaced furnace & AV). AC went out on one of the hottest days did the... year. Called and Jake was out within an hour and fixed it on the spot! I’ve had several encounters with PL Heating and Air over the last ten years - every one above and beyond in terms of customer service!
