We have been serving Prior Lake and the surrounding areas for over 40 years. The business was recently taken over by Jake and his wife who are local Prior Lake residents. Jake has lived in Prior Lake his entire life and loves getting to serve his own community. Our favorite part of the business is working locally and providing high quality services that you can rely on.

There is something very special about serving your very own hometown. Jake attended HVACR school and began working for Prior Lake Heating and AC after graduating. When the previous owner decided to retire, Jake and his wife took over the business. We are grateful for the opportunity to work for our community and take care of each one of you. We hired Prior Lake Heating and Air Conditioning... for our annual tune-up, and they went above and beyond. The technician was extremely thorough and discovered that one of our furnaces was on the verge of failing. He didn’t just give us the bad news—he walked me through the actual measurements and explained everything clearly.They even followed up by trying to get the manufacturer to cover the issue under warranty. When that didn’t work, they came back with three pricing options that were more than fair—honestly, excellent. We decided to move forward with a new furnace installation.The install crew was friendly, professional, and spent most of the day making sure everything was done right, including custom ductwork. They tested the new system in front of me, explained how everything worked, and the final charge matched the original quote exactly. Best of all, they scheduled the installation just four business days after we approved the quote.From start to finish, the entire experience was professional, transparent, and hassle-free. We’ll absolutely be using Prior Lake Heating and Air Conditioning for all of our future heating and cooling needs.UPDATE:Following up on my original review, my AC started short-cycling on the very first hot weekend of the season.The technician thoroughly inspected all the electrical, mechanicals, the indoor coil, and the outdoor unit to make sure the system itself was in great shape. When the system unhelpfully decided to act perfectly normal while he was here, he didn't just give up. He noticed my upstairs Ecobee had recently lost Wi-Fi and deduced that the thermostat’s internal battery was failing after a few years of use, causing it to drop the cooling signal.To prove it, he swapped my working downstairs Ecobee upstairs to isolate the issue, gave me an honest recommendation on what replacement model to buy myself, and promised a free return trip if the issue persists. Once again, absolutely phenomenal customer service, transparency, and problem-solving. This company is the real deal!read more
